COVID-RESPONSE
** Updated: February 22, 2021
CLEANING & SANITATION
The Treehouse’s cleaning contractors employ strict sanitation routines using the latest recommended and approved disinfectant products and practices. Treehouse staff works together with our contractors to maintain the highest level of health and safety of our guests as well as their cleaning staff. Together we are making every effort to assure your comfort and peace of mind.
BEDDING
Treehouse adheres to elite Hotel Style service with Triple Sheeting (as shown in our latest 3D Tour – Treehouse photos) which wraps all bedding (from both under and over) with fresh sheets every turnover. This Fall we’ve also installed All New, All White bedding throughout, and also swapped out all bed frames for stationary air-tight platforms which maintains the highest level of cleanliness.
COMPUTER WORKSTATIONS: WFH – Work/School From Home
Part of the Covid Response, Treehouse Vacation Rentals are now equipped with computer plug-in workstations. Due to the increased demand for ultra high-speed Internet, and workspace, we have coined a new term, WFP (Work from Paradise). If a few hours of zoom for school work is keeping you at home, we’ve solved this with our permanent and pop-up workstations, and ultra high-speed connections with multiple Mesh Routers located on each level. Each workstation includes a desk & chair, a Plug-n-Play 17″ monitor, keyboard & mouse. To plug in, your laptop will simply need (1 USB port) and (1 HDMI port or USB-C video adapter). One workstation is permanently installed in the main room library. Optionally, TWO additional workstations are available (Pop-up desks, with monitor/keyboard/mouse) and are ideal for use in master room and loft locations. These are stowed away, just let us know and we’ll set these up for your use.
VACATION / TRAVEL INSURANCE
During uncertain times, it is highly recommended that you opt in for the Vacation/Travel insurance which is offered during your booking process on our website. Insurance can safeguard your trip by adding protection for delays, interruptions, and cancellations, as well as many covered issues related to Covid. Insurance carriers vary in their offerings, and depending on the makeup of your group and the dynamics of your overall vacation plans, we find it best to recommend speaking with a unbiased insurance broker that can direct you to the best policy for your needs. InsureMyTrip is a brokerage that we have worked with for many years. They are one of the oldest and largest travel insurance brokers and we feel confident in directing you to them. You’ll find them online at www.InsureMyTrip.com. Don’t hesitate to call them directly as they are very responsive and helpful by phone. We cannot quote prices or coverage, but costs typically range from 6% to 10% of your vacation costs that are at risk. Be sure to include a “Cancel for any reason” (CFAR) policy which can include various Covid-19 disruptions. Be sure to secure your insurance within 14-21 days of your first payment for your rental in order to qualify for a CFAR policy.
CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY:
Treehouse Vacation Rentals provide the following terms when booking direct through our website: If Cancelled within 24 hours of signing, a full refund will be issued. After which, if cancellation is more than 60 days from check-in, Guest will be refunded all but 20% of your rental contract. If cancelled within 60 days of check-in, your dates are placed back on the rental market, and if re-rented, a refund will be all of the re-rental proceeds received less 20% of your rental contract. Please refer to your actual contract for latest updates to the policy terms.
